Space Mountain will be closed for refurbishment April 19th to November 21st.

Disney has opened a new dinosaur themed restaurant at Marketplace, Downtown Disney.

Virgin Megastore closed their Downtown store in May.

Aquatica - SeaWorld's new 59 acre water park with rides, slides and dolphins. There are 36 slides and tube rides including the signature attraction - Dolphin Plunge, two bowl flumes, racing slides, lazy rivers, rapids and one of the world's largest interactive water play areas. All this plus relax on large sandy beaches - opened March 2008.

Year of a Million Dreams celebration was extended throughout 2008.

Toy Story Mania is a 3D ride. The Jedi Training Academy is an interactive entertaining show.

Spaceship Earth has been refurbished and now has a series of new hands-on games. The Sea With Nemo and Friends is a perfect family attraction.

A new Simpsons attraction opened in spring 2008 at Universal Studios.

3 new rides for the under 10's can be found at Shamu's Happy Harbor.

Jungala opened in summer 2008. This is a themed jungle village play area with rides and climbs. The hair-raising ride SheiKra has been upgraded as a floorless coaster.
